Anna Kendrick - Scrappy Little Nobody: Brief Review

· Books

I think that I was expecting something different. Perhaps a little lighter and more humourous. Don't get wrong the book is filled with Anna Kendrick's brand of sarcasm and wit which is what draws my interest. It's probably that I don't relate as well to the trials and tribulations of teenage girls and young women. I enjoyed the parts that took the reader behind the curtain for a glimpse at the magic of Hollywood. I can also appreciate how complicated things can be for celebrities out in public.

Overall, it's a good read that I would recommend. Anna seems really down to earth and lives just like the rest of us for the most part. It's easy to sympathize with her challenges and I imagine it wasn't easy to bear her soul for the world to see.

Good for you, Anna!
