Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Brief Review

· Video games

The missions are fun to play and that's why I keep coming back to the Call of Duty franchise and I'm working through all of the games in order that they were released. I'm probably the odd man out here, but I find the story line difficult to follow. I was okay as the story progressed and knew what was going on, but the set up with the flashbacks confused the heck out of me. As a good soldier, I did what I was told and followed orders to get the missions done.

Having multiple endings based on decisions you made throughout the game made for an interesting twist. I looked them up and some endings were better than others. It might be worth it to go back and do things differently in order to see what would happen in the other endings. There is also a strange music video post-credits that is played after all of the endings. It's not generally my kind of music being played but I like the song. The video itself, however, was odd and not well executed. I guess that's what you get when a video is made that not many people are likely to watch.

I will play Black Ops III and may have to read up on the story line before or during the time I play it.
