This post deviates from the normal subject matter, but it's my soapbox. I've made an interesting observation as of late. No one in my household actually likes or drinks soft drinks/pop/soda. We mainly keep some on hand for guests. I want to be a good host after all. Coke doesn't seem to all that popular with my guests and I believe the cans of Coke we have on hand have been stored for quite some time in the cupboard. A couple of times now, I'll go into the kitchen to find a trail of Coke leaking from the cupboard. When I pull all of the cans out, I find that one has a pinhole size leak in it.
Is it normal for holes to develop in cans of Coke after they've been stored for too long? Perhaps this is a good reason for me to stay away from the stuff.
